If you are terminating Teamster employment or being laid off, you will be placed on automatic withdrawal upon notification by you or your employer. Your dues must be paid through the last month in which you worked and must be requested within 90 days. This will keep your membership “on hold” and eliminate the possibility of costly reinitiation fees. After three months of non-payment of dues, you will be suspended from the union if you do not withdraw your membership.
